I enjoy this cleanser. It lathers well and helps to keep the skin clear, however I noticed that it can be a bit drying if used every day.

Oil controlling

This cleanser may not be my favorite but I reach for it when I feel my skin is struggling with acne or oil control. Very dry climate but struggle with breakouts and oily skin at certain times of the month. I have very sensitive skin so this can sometimes be too much for me, especially if around my nose or mouth it can be stingy or get very dry. The texture while cleansing is so riche and produces a creamy foam. A little goes a long way, I find it needs to be removed with a towelette otherwise it leaves behind a slightly waxy or squeaky feel to my skin not unlike bar soap. I have used this in a. Service with the other products from the acne line and I noticed my clients skin was very bright and calm. For a true oily skin type this would be awesome a long with the first aid moisturizer which I find myself reaching for often now and has helped my acne when it does appear.

Pleasantly Surprised!

This cleanser is often recommended for oily, acne-prone skin but I wanted to see how it performed on dry, acne-prone skin as well. WOW I'm so pleasantly surprised by the texture! Yes it says "foam" in the name, but it's not a true foaming cleanser--it's actually a beautiful lather and the cleanser comes out like a cream! It was not stripping to the skin at all. I'm so happy, I think it would be an excellent cleanser for anyone that's acne prone, not just those with oily skin. This is only a first impression but I'm really looking forward to see how it performs long term for reducing inflamed acne lesions. Would definitely recommend!
