Before there was Kin, there was curiosity.

Our Beginning 

While pursuing my degree in anthropology, I moved to South Korea to teach English. I was fascinated by the way people lived—their traditions, routines, and the small rituals that often go unnoticed until you're immersed in another culture. Skincare was one of those rituals.

When I came home, I finished my degree in anthropology and eventually became a licensed esthetician. I spent my first few years in a local spa, and then eventually opened Kin Studio — a skincare studio inspired by the philosophy of Korean skincare.

Kin Studio is really the first chapter in this story.

Over time, Kin Studio became more than a treatment room. It became a way to support other estheticians who were looking for better products, better education, and a community that understood how isolating entrepreneurship can be.

In essence, Kin Studio gave way to Kin Aesthetics; a professional Korean skincare distribution + education company built exclusively for licensed estheticians.
