Trip Waiver, Release of Liability & Assumption of Risk

South Korea Group Trip — October 2027

Seoul · Daegu

This Waiver, Release of Liability, and Assumption of Risk ("Waiver") is entered into by the undersigned participant ("Participant") in connection with the Kin Aesthetics group trip to South Korea in October 2027, organized by By Kin Aesthetics LLC ("Kin," "by Kin Aesthetics," “Kin Aesthetics,” "we," or "us"). By signing below, Participant agrees to the terms set out in this document.

1. Trip Description

By Kin Aesthetics is organizing a group trip to South Korea, including stays in Seoul and Daegu (the "Trip"). The Trip may include group meals, lodging, in-country transportation, and other planned activities as communicated by Kin Aesthetics prior to departure.

Airfare to and from South Korea is NOT included in the Trip. Participant is solely responsible for booking and paying for their own roundtrip airfare, and for ensuring it aligns with the Trip's schedule.

2. Non-Refundable Trip

Participant acknowledges and agrees that all costs associated with the Trip — including but not limited to deposits, lodging, transportation, meals, and any other fees paid to or through Kin Aesthetics — are NON-REFUNDABLE FOR ANY REASON. This includes, without limitation, cancellation by Participant for personal, medical, financial, family, or work-related reasons; inability to travel; visa or documentation issues; illness or injury; or any other circumstance, whether or not within Participant's control.

3. Required Travel Insurance

Because the Trip is non-refundable and international travel carries inherent risk of disruption, Participant is required to purchase a travel insurance policy covering, at minimum, trip cancellation/interruption, emergency medical expenses, and medical evacuation, prior to departure.

Kin Aesthetics recommends (but does not endorse, sell, administer, or receive commission from) the following providers as a starting point for Participant's own research:

Participant is solely responsible for selecting a policy that meets their needs, purchasing it within any provider deadlines (e.g., pre-existing condition waivers tied to purchase date), and understanding its terms, limits, and exclusions. Proof of travel insurance may be requested by Kin Aesthetics prior to departure.

4. No Responsibility for Third-Party or Travel Disruptions

Participant acknowledges that Kin Aesthetics is not a medical provider, insurer, airline, or hotel operator, and that Kin Aesthetics is NOT responsible for, and will not reimburse, pay for, or otherwise cover any costs arising from:

  • Medical treatment, hospitalization, medication, or emergency care needed during the Trip;

  • Flight delays, cancellations, missed connections, rebooking fees, or lost/delayed baggage;

  • Hotel changes, additional nights, or hotel-arranged assistance beyond what Kin Aesthetics has organized;

  • Lost, stolen, or damaged personal property;

  • Any other unforeseen expense arising before, during, or after the Trip.

Any such costs are Participant's sole financial responsibility, and Participant's recourse for these situations is the travel insurance policy required under Section 3, not Kin Aesthetics.

5. Assumption of Risk

Participant understands that international travel involves inherent risks, including but not limited to accidents, illness, injury, civil unrest, natural disasters, transportation delays, and other circumstances beyond Kin Aesthetics' control. Participant voluntarily assumes all such risks associated with participating in the Trip.

6. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Participant, on behalf of themselves and their heirs, executors, and assigns, releases and holds harmless Kin Aesthetics, By Kin Aesthetics LLC, and its owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or related to Participant's participation in the Trip, except to the extent caused by Kin Aesthetics' gross negligence or willful misconduct.

7. Governing Law

This Waiver is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

8. Acknowledgment

Participant confirms that they have read this Waiver in full, understand its terms, have had the opportunity to ask questions, and sign it voluntarily.
