Pre-Care
It is always a good idea to have clients prone to PIH (or higher fitz) on a tyrosinase inhibitor before doing chemical peels. We recommend KrX’s Mela Defense Serum and Cream. Clients should not exfoliate, use AHA/BHA or any derivative of retinol for at least 5 to 7 days prior to the peel.
In Treatment Experience
Clients may feel a tingling or itching sensation – this is a normal occurrence
Post Treatment Care
For postcare, avoid the sun or activities that heat the skin for up to 24 hours. We recommend catering your clients homecare regimen to their specific skin concerns.
Treatment Cadence
Peel can be used every three to four weeks
